The top fortune cookie was mine ♥
So three months ago I got the top fortune cookie in the picture to the left:
Remember three months from this date. Good things are in store for you.
(It also had 13 – my favorite number of all time! – listed as one of the lucky numbers on the back.) And so today, when I launched my blog, I figured that was my “good thing.” But then, the mail came and I got some really great news (that I had not been expecting!). And then, when I was driving home tonight, I saw a shooting star!
I know everyone has their own opinions about fortune telling but, like the subject of one of my earlier posts, How Does God Talk to Us?, I think God can talk to us at any time, in any way, by any means possible. And so, even though it seems silly, I kind of think that fortune cookie was just a little message of hope… and my shooting star was God’s way of saying, “See, I’m watching over you – I told you I would!”
It’s definitely been a day of good things :)
I too have seen a really beautiful shooting star on october 2 2013 . It was special becuase I was in earnest prayer asking God for a significant amount of money , just as I mentioned the amount a star went right over my head , absolutlry beautiful. I could not stop thinking about it and I know my answer is about to manifest into something that has been long awaited ..This was definatley God speaking to me
