True story:
I have an amazing friend, who is very strong in her faith, who sold her house and gave up everything she owned to go support her family, several states away. When she returned last year, she had little more than the clothes on her back and a new job. She stayed on a friend’s couch while she saved up money and, after a few months, moved into a new apartment.
On her first night in her new home, she took a hot shower. When she got out, she was amazed at what she saw: Scripture covered all of her mirrors!
1 Peter 1:8-9 was written on the medicine cabinet; 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 and 1 Corinthians 15:58 covered the huge mirror above her sink!
The most amazing part is: the writing is completely invisible unless the room is filled with steam. You can run your hands over the mirror and feel nothing. You can scrub it as hard as you want with cleaner, and the words won’t go away! But when you step out of the shower, there it is, clear as day!
I took a lot of pictures for you guys, but the one that came out the best was 1 Peter 1:8-9. (When I tried capturing the big mirror, the words got blurred because all you saw was me!)
Hope this message brightens your day and reassures you that God is with you, wherever you go!
1 Peter 1:8-9
…whom having not seen [Jesus Christ] you love Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory,
receiving the end of your faith – the salvation of your souls.
